Recon Five Media is based in the Mid-Atlantic, USA. We create moving and still visual media that captures compelling imagery of important events, newsworthy incidents and commercial footage occurring in our communities.
Founded in 2018, Recon Five Media leverages today's most advanced professional video and media technologies, and cloud-based technologies to get you the highest quality videos and images fast and in full vibrant quality.
We also use advanced unmanned aircraft systems (drone) technology to capture superior quality aerial video and stills to support the stringent demands of editorial and creative clients across various platforms.

Recon Five Media began capturing breaking news and notable events and incidents in the late 1980s and hasn't stopped. Beginning with film photography capturing stills to now using the top professional digital still and video cameras, we strive to record memorable moments.
Need a news helicopter? How about a news drone? Recon Five Media is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration for UAS operations and is qualified for Night Operations. We fly highly advanced UAS aircraft with exceptional imaging sensors (to include thermal imagery), advanced incident tracking and full HD 1080P video transmission capabilities.

Gear
We capture imagery on advanced State-of-the Art Sony photographic and production video cameras and equipment.
We fly our aerial shoots using DJI Mavic 4 Pro and Mavic 3 Pro Cine for high quality visuals and for specialized critical tasks such as thermal imagery we have the DJI Matrice 30 Thermal.
We edit and produce our footage in DaVinci Resolve Studio, the same editing software used in Hollywood's top film studios and production houses.
We are an authorized user on AT&T's FirstNet Network giving us priority on AT&T cellular communications.
We use Starlink for low-latency and reliable field internet connectivity.
