Inspired by a love for aviation and being a part of big things, ReconFive was founded in 2018 in Virginia by Mr. Rick Charles,  AvGeek-in-Charge. 

 

ReconFive has 35 years serving in the United States Government in cleared positions with an aviation nexus including 20 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Aviation Administration.

• Extensive Aviation Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Professional military aviation operations and civil aviation industry regulatory and security experience since 1988.

  • 14-years regularly briefing five FAA Administrators and numerous senior executives, and working directly with aviation subject matter experts across the agency on national security risks.

  • Over 2,800 flight crew hours, including over 500 hours in combat operations missions

  • Formal platform instructor for military aviation-focused training in a "schoolhouse" environment

• Professional Intelligence & Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Experience:

  • U.S. Government Cleared (SCI) Aviation Intelligence and OSINT since 2005.

  • 20+ years working for Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Aviation Administration

  • Extensive National Security case investigations and operations experience as lead or supporting investigator.

  • Aviation Intelligence and OSINT Trainer/Instructor to Case investigators and intelligence analysts
